Joining Requirements ABN Candidate Characteristics
The ABN is actively seeking new members in business categories not already held by current members. To provide maximum benefit for everyone, prospective members are encouraged to think about what they can contribute to the BBN’s success as well as how they can benefit from membership.
Key characteristics of a good ABN candidate are:
- A high level of professionalism and a demonstrated commitment to quality service
- The motivation to continuously improve as a business professional
- An interest in exchanging ideas with others
- A desire to contribute to the group's overall success
Membership Requirements
We believe that ABN membership provides excellent value for the price. As we grow, our intent is to make the ownership of a ABN business category a highly valued business asset.
Specific requirements for members are:
- Sponsorship by a current member in good standing. (If an applicant does not have a sponsor, the president will assign one.)
- Attendance of three meetings before submitting application.
- Read the operating guidelines and discuss them with sponsor.
- Complete and sign application, sign a copy of operating guidelines and submit a check for annual dues.
- A majority vote to accept the candidate by group members at the weekly meeting.
